To develop from concept to completion a specialist laboratory for golden horizon respiratory diseases research with world class conferencing facilities. The facility included research laboratories, support areas and equipment for Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biology disciplines including Pharmacokinetics, In-vivo and Invitro.

The project was completed in 1999. The facility served Novartis’s respiratory disease programmes successfully until the overall site was released in June 2014.
