Thanks to you, our clients, Facilities Integration was ten years old as of the end of July.
As FI moves into its 11th year we can look back on ten years of enjoyable, successful professional service to the Life Sciences industry as a consultant architect; often referred to as a facilities integrator or process architect in the context of the specialisation; whilst what has been covered is much broader than process alone.
The company success has been based on working with clients, as an extension of their discipline team, to closely understand their goals, aspirations and needs and convert that understanding into realistic masterplans, concept studies, basic engineering/FEEDs, detail and onward to successfully operating facilities.
In that time I can truly say that I have enjoyed all of the projects I have worked on; many of which have been significantly complex with conclusions arrived at only by close team working and individual respect. A highlight in this has been the fortune to be taken in as a research fellow at Warwick University, aiding my fellow team members to achieve the IChemE Outstanding and Project Awards in 2011/2012.
None of this could be achieved without teaming with partner design-for-construction organisations of similar belief and dedication. It is only with equal thanks to them that Facilities Integration can claim any success.
Here’s to the next ten… and may they be as successful
